Hi Eric,

All my embarrassing tools - and there's a sorry number of them - fall into the same category. And the thought process always goes like this:
a) I'm pondering (not even planning) a certain project.
b) I'll need (or at least want) a certain tool for said project.
c) I buy said tool, usually on eBay.
d) While waiting for tool to arrive, my pondering heads off in a new direction.
e) Goto a

The result is quite a few pretty nice tools that have never been used. I am wracked with guilt.

AH!

Not a specific tool
so much as a situation
From time to time
I think I need to get an "x"
and get it
only to get home and find the one
I forgot I had.

The flipside I guess is having it
knowing I have it
and then NOT being able to find
the darn thing!
Does that count?
