Well, I arrived in country without incident - although the box of tools was the only thing that the TSA guys inspected! Come on, guys - only one of those four chisels has been sharpened…
Now we’re in a friend’s place for six weeks, a crowded apartment no less, so there won’t be any wood being worked anytime soon. My first priority is to get/build a box to store all my tools in (along with a box of silica gel) to keep the rust at bay! I want to build a box, obviously, but I may settle for a cheap plastic tub for the time being.

Will there be any pictures? Like, even though it’s “off to a slow start” maybe just some pictures of the tools or whatever.
Maybe this site IS “just for the guys out there.”
*sigh. I wanted so badly to be a part of the woodworking magic, but maybe I’m just not cut out for it.

Y’know, I’ve been thinking about trying my hand at woodworking. Maybe it’s from those years at the Unfinished Furniture Mart. What do I need for a starter kit, Eric? (You may have already said in an earlier post, but I’m too lazy to go look right now.)

Natalie: Fair enough! I’ll get some pictures of the tools as I unpack them. That way I can post about things when I’m not even doing real woodworking. Muah hah hah!
Jonathan: If you want to know what tools would make up a starter set, why don’t you check out my second (of only four) posts which is entitled My “Starter Set”? Man, you are lazy.
